OFEED’s Young Member (15 years old), Mohamed Yalouh (Morocco), won the Gold Medal and the Best Invention Design Award at the International Invention Competition iCAN 2020, held in Toronto.

The final of the competition was held on Saturday remotely due to the pandemic of Covid-19 with the participation of 60 countries, and the award-winning invention concerns a diesel engine for a helicopter, a 6-stroke car and several powers.

Among its characteristics, it is said, are great fuel economy, better thermal stability, easier maintenance, low noise and a more efficient and environmentally friendly engine.

These qualities innovate advancing the old rotary engine, known as the “Wankel Rotary Engine”.

Member of OFEED since last June, Mohamed Yalouh is the first Moroccan inventor to receive the “Inv” certificate issued for the most deserving inventors by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).

Last July, he obtained a certificate of honor for his participation in the international competition “Inventions Vs Corona” organized by the IFIA.

Initiated by the Toronto International Society of Innovation & Advanced Skills, iCAN has set itself the goal, according to its initiators, to organize a special platform in Toronto, Canada, to bring out creativity and bring to life the culture of exhibitions. innovation by offering inventors and students from all over the world opportunities to expand their space of activities.
